At Salford Community Upskilling, community empowerment is at the heart of everything we do. Our motto, #BreakingtheDigitalDivide, came to life once again as learners joined us for a practical and supportive digital skills session in partnership with First Kick Foundation and Salford City Council, through Salford ESOL.

The session brought together members of the community to build confidence using laptops, online tools and everyday digital platforms. Learners took part in hands-on activities, asked questions, supported one another and developed skills that can help with communication, learning, employment and daily life.

For many people, digital exclusion can be a real barrier. Access to technology, confidence online and the ability to use digital services are now essential parts of everyday living. That is why sessions like this are so important. They create a welcoming space where learners can grow at their own pace, feel supported and take positive steps towards independence.
