What a wonderfully diverse English class we had today, with people from more than 10 countries coming together in one room to learn, share and connect. We focused on health, health services, healthcare professionals and body parts, building useful vocabulary and confidence for everyday life.
The sessions help people build confidence in talking English and sharing stories about themselves and their experiences, culture, and countries.
We were also delighted to receive our Salford City Council Centenary Board, celebrating Salford’s Century of City Pride. A big thank you to Emma and Laurence for visiting us, and to everyone who attended and took part in today’s English session. It was a fantastic session full of learning, connection and community spirit.
