We are celebrating Refugee Week through A Fresh Start and inviting members of our community to come together, share their stories, and celebrate life in Salford.

Have you moved to Salford and now call it home? Please join us on Friday 19th June 2026 for My Salford Story – A Community Wall of Remembrance.

This special community event will be a welcoming space for people to share their experiences of life in Salford through storytelling, arts and crafts, quotes, pictures, music, dance, networking and connection. It will also be an opportunity to celebrate diversity, community cohesion and the sense of belonging that makes Salford home for so many people.
