We are absolutely delighted and humbled to announce that Salford Community Upskilling has been shortlisted for an award by Forever Manchester!

We have been named as finalists in the ‘Forever Futures’ category. This specific award is given in recognition of groups who share their skills and knowledge with others to promote lifelong learning and skills development.

At Salford Community Upskilling, this mission is at the very heart of everything we do. We strive every day to support our community, including asylum seekers and refugees, by providing English language and ICT courses, as well as interpreting and employability workshops. Our goal has always been to offer the necessary skills, knowledge, and confidence to help people integrate into society and build a brighter future.

To see this work acknowledged on such a significant platform is incredibly moving for our team.

We are looking forward to the Forever Manchester Birthday Party on Friday 6th February 2026, where the winners will be announced. However, regardless of the outcome on the night, we are so proud simply to be shortlisted.

This is huge for us. It is a recognition that what we are doing is truly impacting members of our community, and that means the world to us.
