Welcome to December! As we approach the end of 2025, we want to finish the year strong with a fantastic lineup of events designed to help you learn new skills, get creative, and celebrate the festive season with your community.
Whether you want to brush up on your technology skills or craft some beautiful Christmas decorations, we have something for everyone before we close for the holidays.
Here is what’s happening this month at Salford Community Upskilling:
Boost Your Skills
We are dedicated to helping you grow. This month, we have two opportunities to improve your Digital Skills at Salford Loaves and Fishes (M6 5PL). Join us on December 1st or December 8th from 1–3 pm to get more comfortable with technology.
Looking ahead to your education journey? We are also holding an English Assessment Day on December 12th (11–3 pm) at Pendleton Gateway (M6 5FX). It’s the perfect time to see where you stand before the new year begins.

Unleash your artistic side with us!
- Creative Art Showcase: Come see the amazing work our community has produced on December 5th (12–3 pm) at Pendleton Gateway (M6 5FX).
- Creative Art-Crafting: Want to get hands-on? Join us for a crafting session on December 6th (2–4 pm) at the Emmanuel Centre (M6 5PN).
Festive Wellbeing & Celebrations
It wouldn’t be December without some holiday cheer.
- Christmas Decoration Crafting: As part of our “Wellbeing Matters” series, come make your own festive decor on December 13th (2–4 pm) at the Emmanuel Centre (M6 5PN).
- The Grand Finale: We are closing out the year with a Christmas Celebration on December 19th (12–3 pm) at Pendleton Gateway (M6 5FX). Come celebrate with us!
