Food Hygiene Level 2: Building Skills and Confidence in Our Community

Empowering our community members is at the heart of what we do at Community Upskilling.

We recently delivered an engaging and educational Food Hygiene Level 2 session, giving community members the opportunity to develop valuable knowledge and practical skills around food safety and hygiene.

The session explored important areas of food handling, including:

  • Safe food preparation and handling
  • Maintaining clean and hygienic cooking areas
  • Safe food storage and preservation
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Good food hygiene practices
  • Understanding responsibilities when working with food

It was a valuable opportunity for participants to learn, ask questions and build their confidence in applying good food hygiene practices in everyday life and the workplace.

We are proud to support our community by providing opportunities that develop skills, knowledge and confidence, helping people move towards greater independence and employment.

With thanks to our partners
