Breaking Digital Exclusion, Building Confidence

Breaking digital exclusion to empower our community is our motto.

This week at Community Upskilling, our learners took part in a practical digital skills session focused on everyday online tasks, including online shopping and online banking. These are important skills that help people feel more confident, independent and included in daily life.

During the session, learners explored how to search for products online, compare prices, understand delivery information and use safe payment options. We also looked at online banking, including how to read information carefully, understand banking services and stay safe when using the internet.

It was a great opportunity for learners to ask questions, practise at their own pace and build confidence in a supportive environment. Digital skills are not just about using a laptop; they are about access, independence, safety and opportunity.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and took part with such enthusiasm.
