Forever Manchester has just announced the shortlists for their upcoming Birthday Party celebration in February 2026, and we are proud to be named as finalists for the Forever Futures Award.

What is the Forever Futures Award?

The Forever Manchester awards celebrate the incredible people and groups across Greater Manchester who care enough to act. The Forever Futures Award, specifically, is given in recognition of groups that share their skills and knowledge with others to promote lifelong learning and skills development.

It is an honor to be recognized alongside other amazing organizations like All Arts & Media, Swinton Lions Community Sports Foundation, and Youth Elements CIC.

Why We Were Selected

This nomination is a testament to the hard work of our team, our volunteers, and the resilience of the community we serve.

At Salford Community Upskilling CIC, our mission has always been clear: to empower migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and digitally excluded individuals in Greater Manchester. We believe that education is the key to integration and independence.

We were recognized for our work in helping people overcome language and digital barriers. By providing comprehensive training in essential English language, ICT skills, and mental health awareness, we strive to help our service users navigate essential services, access education, and find employment opportunities.
