Yesterday, on Saturday the 11th of April, Salford Community Upskilling hosted a fantastic ‘Snacks and Chats’ session dedicated to men’s wellbeing. Held at the Holm Court Community Room, it was a brilliant afternoon filled with connection, conversation, and genuine community spirit.

The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed from the moment the doors opened. Over cups of tea, fresh fruit, and engaging activities—including a space-themed puzzle that required a bit of teamwork!—the men in attendance shared great discussions and plenty of laughter. In today’s fast-paced world, taking a moment to simply sit down, socialise with new people, and focus on mental and physical wellbeing is more important than ever.
We want to extend a massive thank you to Salford CVS for their funding and support, which made this vital session possible. Their ongoing commitment to local initiatives is invaluable to our work in the community.
