Community Upskilling recently hosted a warm and welcoming social gathering as part of our Wellbeing Matters programme.

It was a great afternoon of catching up, chatting and spending quality time with people who matter to us. Bringing members together in this informal setting created space to connect, share experiences and strengthen the supportive relationships within our community.
During the session, we discussed our current projects and explored how we can tailor our support around the individual needs of our members. Listening to people’s experiences helps us make sure our services continue to offer practical, meaningful support.
We also shared healthy food kindly provided by Lidl GB and Neighbourly. This was a valuable opportunity to promote our social, financial and environmental values while enjoying food together.
Thank you to Salford CVS, Salford City Council, and Salford Integrated Care Partnership for their continued support.
We would also like to give special thanks to our volunteers Anna, Nathalie and Sara, who stayed on to help with administrative tasks.
Moments like these remind us that wellbeing is built through connection, kindness and community.
