We are excited to be planning a new community project for June: “My Salford Story” – Community Wall.
This creative and storytelling project will celebrate the stories, experiences and contributions of people who have made a fresh start in Salford. It will give community members the opportunity to share their journey, reflect on what Salford means to them, and show how they have built confidence, connection and a sense of belonging.
The project is supported through the “A Fresh Start in Salford” Small Grants Programme, funded and administered by Salford Skills and Work. It reflects our ongoing aim to support asylum seekers, refugees and the wider community with skills, confidence and opportunities to integrate into society.
Through learning, creativity, culture and shared experiences, My Salford Story will help bring people together and strengthen community cohesion.
The date and location will be confirmed soon.
