Community empowerment through language was at the heart of our English Conversation session.
Together, we explored why people have bank accounts and how banking supports everyday life. Learners discussed useful vocabulary including Direct Debit, Standing Order, rent, payment, salary, bills, and more.

It was a great session, full of engagement, learning, discussion, and confidence-building. Our learners worked together, asked questions, shared ideas, and continued to practise English in a friendly and supportive environment.
The session was also beautifully adorned with flowers from Lidl GB through Neighbourly, bringing extra warmth and colour to the day.
A big thank you to Salford ESOL and the Refugee Welcome Programme for their continued support.
